ICF is seeking Senior Wildlife Biologist to support projects in Northern California.
What You Will Do
Conduct desktop analyses and prepare biological study reports
Prepare CEQA and NEPA biological resource chapters and associated technical reports (such as, Biological Assessment to support Federal ESA consultation)
Coordinate wildlife field staff and oversee field surveys and construction monitoring
Collect and synthesize data and support GIS deliverables
Maintain close communication with project manager and co-workers
Participate in field surveys either alone or in technical teams
Prepare proposals and manage small to medium projects
What You Must Have
BS in Biology, Ecology, or Natural Sciences with an emphasis in wildlife biology
10+ years of experience conducting biological surveys in California
Must have valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
What We'd Like You to Have
Strong knowledge of California wildlife species and associated habitats and survey methodology
Experience working on PG&E, Caltrans, and broadband fiber projects
Construction monitoring experience
Experience with state and federal resource agencies and regulations/laws
Familiarity with GPS mapping technology
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, including ability to identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$87,607.00 - $148,932.00 Sacramento, CA (CA82)
