Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team. The Senior BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions to support business analytics and decision-making processes. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, a deep understanding of BI technologies, and experience in leading BI development projects.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView. Lead and mentor a team of BI developers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of BI projects. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions. Architect and optimize data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses to support BI and analytics initiatives. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations to provide insights into business performance and trends. Implement data governance and security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of BI data. Monitor and optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability. Stay current with BI technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve BI solutions and capabilities. Provide technical guidance, support, and training to junior developers and team members. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. years of experience in business intelligence and data warehousing, with a strong focus on BI development. Strong technical skills in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar. Experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data integration techniques. Proficiency in SQL and database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams is a plus. Certification in BI tools or related technologies is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-based BI platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Google BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift. Knowledge of data visualization best practices and principles. Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics techniques. Experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements such as GDPR or CCPA.
