The Senior Associate of Procurement will be responsible for purchasing, material receiving, inventory, inventory analytics, and buyer/planner operations for Otis Florence Tool Facility. The ideal candidate will collaborate with field support, engineers, and designers to determine the materials needed to ensure day-to-day operations in the tool facility to fulfill orders and parts need for maintenance on equipment. Our SMAP is also responsible for maintaining the inventory of those materials once they arrive. Additionally, you will oversee the receiving procedures for the Tool Facility. The SMMP will also audit material transactions, investigate variances, and lead our facility in Physical Inventory.
Your duties include signing purchase orders, approving invoices and tracking the flow of inventory from the Tool Facility. Several other responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with other Tool Facility Manager to determine supply needs. Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications and quantity needs Coordinate receiving procedures. Oversee distribution of supplies in the Tool Facility Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies. Enter Purchase Orders and help facilitate planning of eCars Maintain relationships with our internal supply chain staff. Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc. Assist in forecasting to plan future orders. Support production control functions for seamless scheduling and production planning Constant Review of processes and purchase orders Supervision of scheduled deliveries and timely fulfillment of orders Develop and maintain strong relationship with Tool Facility Develop and maintain strong relationship with Suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Proven experience as materials Experience in shipping and receiving. Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems Understanding of forecasting and budgeting Proficient computer skills, & willing to stay up to date on new technological tends, advancements, & software Excellent organizational and leadership skills Proven problem-solver, collaborator, mentor & trainer BSc/BA in logistics or relevant field; or 5+ years of leadership experience If you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.
