Job Description:The client is seeking one (1) senior analyst/developer with experience in .NET applications. The contractor will work in the state office with existing MDES technical team members to provide maintenance, enhancements, and support to the agency's current applications. The contractor may also be required for designing, developing, and enhancing additional applications as requested. Tasks required will be: (1) Serve as technical Microsoft .NET developer for client, (2) maintain, support, and develop enhancements to the client Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) application, (3) Assist the client technical team supporting the functions required under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

TECHNICAL

.NET Development and Support.NET Visual StudioRecord locking development and experience.Application-level securitySystem and user level auditingSQL Server Database AdministrationDesign and produce queries for quarterly, yearly, and ad hoc report required by US Department of Labor Legislature, and state and local partners.Data modeling.

Proficient in English speaking and writingAbility in interact with functional users and technical staff regarding business and information technology needs.Problem solving and listening.

TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILL SET

Microsoft server operating systems including Windows 2008Project Management Professional (PMP)JavaScriptCrystal reportsProblem/application resolutions for end usersObject oriented programming, mainframe programming, and cross system data exchanges.Documents and troubleshoot current web and network security issues and certificate authorities.Experience with Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration accounting software and MAGIC/Pay Mode, including interfaces with MAGIC (vendor payment system)
