Trapper's Sushi is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team.The Senior Accountant will be responsible for financial close processes and reporting.Ideal candidates should have experience in accounting and managing department functionality.

Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.• Handle accounts payable and receivable duties, including tracking and aging of receivables.• Perform bi-weekly payroll duties for all locations.• Reconcile and manage monthly balance sheet accounts.• Assist in external audit preparation and interact with internal departments.• Conduct monthly and year-end close processes, resolving discrepancies.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.• Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and tools.• Ensure timely billing to grantors for services rendered.
Requirements
• Minimum of five years of accounting experience, restaurant industry experience preferred.• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).• Proficient with QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills.• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA designation is a plus).• Versatility, adaptability, and attention to detail.• Ability to work independently or with a team.• Physical requirements: manual dexterity and ability to sit and use a computer.• Good communication skills and fluency in English.• Benefits Package: Medical/Vision/Dental, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Discretionary Bonus Program.
