Senior Accountant

Summary:
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate reporting and providing strategic financial guidance. This role will analyze financial data, identify trends, and recommend improving financial performance. This role will also oversee month-end and year-end close processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial policies. Essential Functions: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting principles and regulations. To support strategic decision-making, perform complex financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance. Provide financial guidance and support to internal stakeholders, assisting with budget preparation, cost analysis, and financial planning. Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry trends, recommending improving financial processes and efficiency. Assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree 4+ years accounting experience Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards Proficient in using financial management software, spreadsheets, and other accounting tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately #LI-TM1
