Senior Accountant
We have partnered with a prominent nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Greater Atlanta community. The team is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to add to their accounting and finance team.
Responsibilities:
Data clean up – making sure info came across accurately
Reconciling journal entries booked to old system and missed in new system
Month end close activities
Recurring entries clean up
Supporting government audit, supporting orgs audit and regular audit
Handle complex bank reconciliations
Collaboration with other team members
Skills:
5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the nonprofit sector
Must be skilled in complex bank reconciliations
Must have Excel skills (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
