Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team and help us manage our financial operations. The Senior Accountants mission is to accurately recalculate financial documents and provide our stakeholders with accurate financial reports.
This is a fully onsite role in our Arlington office working directly with the CFO.  This is the perfect opportunity for someone interested in learning from experienced managers how start-ups work and to help grow their accounting career within a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Maintain and manage financial records in accordance with accepted standards. Develop internal controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and security of financial transactions. Create and analyze financial reports to provide a clear picture of the companys financial performance. Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements. Reconcile and analyze financial data from multiple sources. Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. Assist with budgeting and forecasting. Perform ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field. 5+ years of relevant experience. CPA certification REQUIRED. Expertise in Accounting, Quickbooks, NetSuite, Expensify, Excel, Google Sheets, and bill.com. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Meticulous attention to detail. Highly organized and strong time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
