Senior Accountant

For 60+ years, we have been the premier concrete manufacturer that specializes in precast concrete products in North America. In the last 40 years we have narrowed in our focus to steel fabrications as well to help deliver even greater value to our customers. This role is located at one of our plants out of Alachua Florida.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, managing the audit process, and helping to ensure compliance with audit regulations and accounting standards.
What you will be doing:  Manage the accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial information Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded Develop and maintain internal controls and compliance with accounting principles and audit standards Prepare and review financial statements and other reports for internal and external use Lead the audit process; coordinate both internal and external audits Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations Provide financial analysis and advice to support the organization's operations and decision-making process Participate in other accounting and finance initiatives and projects What you will need: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounting or auditing role Familiarity with accounting and audit standards Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles Excellent Excel skills Experience with a manufacturing company is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision 401k matching 4% PTO Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
