Job Title:Semester LecturerDepartment:Arts and Sciences | Arts Administration Education and Policy Position Overview The Department of Arts Administration, Education & Policy (AAEP) seeks a Semester Lecturer appointment to teach two specialized topics courses during Summer Semester 2024. Minimum requirements of this position include PhD in art education with knowledge of theoretical frameworks, and commitment to mentorship and cultivation of undergraduate students on topics relating to art and art education..
Performance Objectives Teaching:
To provide AAEP students access to excellent scholarship and teaching in the field of arts administration, policy and entrepreneurship. Educational experiences will prepare students to discuss topics in art and popular culture through deepened knowledge of visual culture, meaning making through art, art as activism, art as popular culture, art as social reflection, etc.
Education and Experience Requirements Required : PhD in Arts Policy and Administration, or Related Field
Desired : Extensive background educating students on the what art does in society.
