Responsibilities
• Ensure the protection of patients, parents, visitors, and staff• Intervene in criminal activities within legal parameters• Communicate with police, fire, and other first responding departments• Conduct exterior patrols and make security observations• Provide jump starts and lock out services• Assist in lost and found, key control, and other department services
Requirements
• One year of security experience preferred• State driver's license• International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) required or 20 Hour PERC card
