On-site Security is seeking to employ a Security Guard position at The Mint Dispensary.
On-site Security is a professional management services provider currently hiring unique talent for an Arizona Licensed Non-Profit Dispensary that specializes in serving the Medical Cannabis community. The work environment is fast-paced and non-traditional.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Security Guard serves visitors/patients by maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
*LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO : -Has a guard card or armed guard card.
-Is friendly and approachable
-Has exceptional customer service
-Can stand for up to 8 hours and is OK with standing outside more than 50% of the shift
-Patrol outside and around the building every half hour *required*
-Take direction well from management
-Can de-escalate situations safely and professionally
-Welcomes visitors/patients by greeting them, in person.
-Secures premises and personnel by patrolling around the property every half hour; monitoring surveillance equipment and access points; permitting entry if neccesary.
-Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
-Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
-Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: -Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age; pursuant to A.R.S. §36-2801.10
-Applicant must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the
-Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01
-Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of the criminal background check conducted by the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01 and A.R.S. §36-2801.10
-Valid Identification
-High school diploma or equivalent. Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
