Seasonal Harvest Operator

At Seneca, we produce seeds, harvest crops, manufacture our own containers and provide a wide range of nutritious fruit and vegetable products.Seneca Foods Corporation in Janesville, WI, is currently seeking seasonal agricultural workers for its 2024 production season:Peas – June through late JulyCorn – mid-July through mid-OctoberThis timeframe is tentative and can be affected by the weather and crop availability. Seneca provides safe working conditions, paid overtime over 40 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and on-the-job training.• Harvest Operator: Operate pea combine and/or corn harvester to pick the crop and assist with minor machine repairs, adjustments, maintenance, and sanitation.Work in a safe and responsible mannerFollow all Good Manufacturing Practices and safety policies/procedures.* Perform other duties as assignedRequirements:Good attention to detail and accuracyRegular AttendanceStrong work ethicAbility to work independently or in a team environmentValid driver's license for any position involving the use/operation of company equipmentHarvest Operators: Farm equipment operation experience is preferred but not requiredHarvest Operators: Ability to work 12+ hour shifts.
