Seasonal Bartender/Server

Ok Omens is hiring for a Summer Bartender/Server!

We are a wine focused restaurant with a seasonal eclectic dinner menu located on SE Hawthorne. We focus on integrity driven wines and we were recently nominated for James Beard Outstanding Wine Program. We are looking to add one more passionate hospitality professional to our team. We have a full bar and cocktail program and this position will be working directly with our Bar Manager.

Three things are essential for this position:

1. A passion for wine and cocktails a passion for sharing that passion with our guests. A strong working knowledge of European and Oregon wines is a must.

2. The willingness to hustle. During summer, we open our outdoor patio and it's very large. That means lots of running. We're looking for someone who wants to work hard and doesn't mind being part of an efficient team.

3. Warmth, enthusiasm, professionalism with our guests and a sense of humor are essential. No snobbery here. While we like to have fun, we still put a big focus on hospitality. Making sure that our guests are always being taken care of is an absolute priority. No us vs them mentality here!

This position is full time and will be phased out in October when the patio closes. There will be opportunity for picking up shifts throughout the winter.

The position will be a mix of bar shifts and serving shifts. Please do not apply if you are not comfortable working serving shifts!
