you will find that as well as outstanding opportunities for professionals looking to grow in their careers.The Scrum Master or Senior Scrum Master will be facilitating one or more technology product delivery teams assisting in bringing new products to market and/or maintaining product health through feature enhancements and code improvements.They will assist in empowering delivery teams to be high performing, delivering business value through their development and execution of work activities, and facilitate initiatives of varying complexity from initiation through release, providing oversight to ensure alignment with Agile Scrum and/or Kanban practices. They will remove impediments to delivery through the proactive management of external dependencies, team problem solving and the development of new solutions or approaches to ongoing challenges.This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE. This position is Hybrid eligible with 50% in the office required. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.#LI-AM1 / #LI-HybridWhat will you do?Empower delivery teams to be high performing, delivering business value through their development and execution of work activities.Responsible for organizing and facilitating the scrum process and regular scrum ceremonies. This includes daily stand-ups, story estimation, release and sprint planning sessions, status meetings, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives.Remove impediments to delivery through the proactive management of external dependencies, team problem solving and the development of new solutions or approaches to ongoing challenges.Provides coaching and feedback to other team members, generates metrics for the teams to use and learn where improvements can be made, and promote a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity and innovation.What are we looking for?Bachelor's degreeMinimum 3-5 years related work experience (Minimum 5-7 years for Senior Scrum Master)Minimum 2+ years as a Scrum Master (Minimum 3+ years for Senior Scrum Master)Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)Knowledge of software development practices and proceduresExperience working in application lifecycle management tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, JIRA, or RallyWho would excel in this role?Experience with business analysis or project managementFamiliarity with continuous delivery and continuous integrationInsurance industry and product knowledgeWe want you to be involved!
