JOB OVERVIEW
We're looking for a team member to lead the scientific relationship with our clients built on a strength of scientific knowledge and strategic insight. This team member will partner with Client Services to deliver innovative client solutions and drive business growth. If this sounds like you, read on!
ROLE SCOPE:
To be responsible for the scientific and strategic excellence of assigned accounts across Lighthouse
To hold key client relationships built-on strength of scientific knowledge and strategic insight
To support the EVP, Business Growth to drive business growth
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Senior team leader supporting the Senior Management Team in the delivery of Lighthouses' visions and goals
Senior point of contact for clients, building confidence in the service Lighthouse provides and ensuring a high level scientific and strategic partnership
Has an expert level of understanding of client science and strategy, and stays abreast of latest medical/scientific advances
Is a highly visible scientific leader to all clients and external experts, as appropriate, generating client traction and advocacy
Provides leadership to medical team. Reviews content for scientific deliverables by junior team members to ensure accuracy and quality and that all materials are in line with clients' strategic goals
Contributes to the development of Lighthouses' annual plan for assigned accounts
Contributes toward the development of the Lighthouse range of offerings, providing insights on client needs
Takes active role in identifying organic growth opportunities on assigned accounts. Contributes to the development and delivery of new business proposals/pitches, working closely with senior client services counterpart
Contributes to business development efforts, providing scientific input and insight where needed. Active participation in pitches
Mentors and coaches the Lighthouse multi-disciplinary team (primarily the writing team, but also client services team) to understand and confidently communicate around client science and strategy
Is an ambassador for Lighthouse, helping build the profile and client base of the company
Contributes towards development of proposals/budgets and ensures projects remain within scope and actively identifies/flags projects going beyond scope
Ensures compliance standards are met in-line with both Lighthouse and client expectations
Helps identify and improve Lighthouse processes and resources to optimize ways of working and client deliverables
Contributes to the broader training program for Lighthouse, particularly regarding writer development, to ensure employees are equipped to exceed clients' expectations and assume greater responsibility for their roles
Required experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in medical communications
Reports into: VP, Head of Medical and Scientific Services
