Here's how a Scheduling Manager for our Denver office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities Consults with all project managers and superintendents to review the impacts and mitigation measures on master schedules. Develops strategy on change management for project teams to implement. Develops time impact analysis on contract changes and project impacts. Coordinates all relevant project schedules and prepares proposal schedules based on contract documents project metrics. Works with Virtual Design team to develop 4D schedules. Oversees the creation of 2D visual and 4D graphic schedules. Prepares schedule updates/revisions as well as monthly progress reports in accordance with contract documents. Monitors project progress against baseline and provides delay and time impact analyses. Develops and maintains detailed resource and cost-loaded construction schedules for projects. Facilitates the planning and scheduling process through various construction phases (preconstruction, construction, system completions, commissioning, etc.). Manages schedule scope changes in alignment with contract requirements. Conducts schedule analysis for constructability, risks and opportunities. Maintains the P6 scheduling database at a district level, including setting up new projects, maintaining templates and layouts, and setting up user permissions. Other duties as required. Qualifications Postsecondary degree or diploma in construction management, engineering or a related discipline preferred. Expert knowledge of construction specifications, building materials, methods and procedures, and the ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, contracts and proposal documents. Expert knowledge of schedule requirements in the contract documents. Extensive prior experience with field construction operations and how a project is constructed, including logical sequencing of work through all phases of the project from pursuit to project closeout. Ability to identify and mitigate risk, opportunities, appropriate solutions, communicating to stakeholders from construction drawings, specifications, contracts and proposal documents. Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable systems. Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6 and EPPM. Advanced knowledge of the Critical Path Scheduling method related to the construction industry with the ability to teach. Proven experience with Lean Construction and Last Planner System. Experience with Advanced Work Packaging / WorkFace Planning. The salary range for this position is between $133,365 and $172,590 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. PCL combines numerous pay and benefit strategies to provide a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package. Any salary range displayed by a job board is an estimate.
