Schedule Engineer

Job summary
Responsible for planning and scheduling construction activities and crews associated with assigned projects.Promote communication and efficient problem resolution.Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation.• Develop cost and resource load schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM).• Work with estimators and project team to develop target schedule.• Monitor progress of contract and communicate factors that could result in re-planning or re-prioritizing of schedule.• Perform Time Impact Analysis and schedule delays analysis.• Develop recovery schedule and prepare delay claims.• Conduct risk analysis and claims assessment.• Audit existing project schedules for accuracy.• Evaluate current procedures and recommend changes to improve efficiency.
Requirements
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and/or minimum 5 years of heavy industrial construction experience.• Working knowledge of industry CPM Scheduling software packages.• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.• Verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills.• Experience working with project management and knowledge of heavy construction logistics.
