Saw Operator (Afternoons & Midnights) Multiple Locations

Extrusion Saw Operator Garden City - Afternoon shift (3pm-1am) Monday-Friday & (3pm-11pm) Saturday
*** Training on day shift (5am-3pm) Mon-Fri & (5am-1pm) Sat
Must be able to travel to the Livonia plant, if needed.  Livonia- Midnight shift (11pm-7am) 6 days a week. 
*** Training is held on either days or afternoons**
•    Extrusion Saw Operators review work orders to prepare workflow.
•    Operates saw setting operational gauges.
•    Verified correct cut length by using appropriate measuring tools.
•    Operates saw crane to place materials in racks.
•    Stretches extrusions, as needed.
This position requires: punctuality and excellent attendance, with physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive standing/walking, extensive bending/kneeling/squatting, continuous lifting up to 75 pounds from floor to average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, and extreme temperatures. Requirements 
•    Working experience in a manufacturing facility.
•    Must have reliable transportation.
•    Must be 18 years or older.
•    Must have excellent attendance and work ethic. 
•    Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed.
•    Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed. Training
•    Use of proper PPE (i.e: safety glasses, steel toe, ear plugs, gloves, etc.).
•    Safety Rules and practices.
•    On the Job Training: 
o    Saw Operations & Controls
o    Work Orders
o    Saw Crane
o    Saw Quality Check Sheet
•    Stretching, as needed
•    Various Measuring tools (i.e: square, tape measure, etc.)  Minimum Requirements
o    Working experience in a manufacturing facility.
o    Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
