ROLE: SAP Functional Developer
Location: Chicago, IL -Remote (Travel as required)
Type: Contract-

Responsibilities:
Deliver, design, build, test, cutover readiness, and go-live of various EDI messages end to end services and Customers, Banks, and other 3rd parties (Vendors, Carriers).
Design and deliver high quality solutions through EDI X12 expertise and Idoc mapping knowledge and ABAP working knowledge, robust error handling that meet overall business requirements.
Interface with SAP functionality, development, basis and security team and business process Super Users to deliver end to end EDI functionality.
Design / architect robust error handling and exception process by identifying various areas of failure in end-to-end EDI process and how they will be corrected by business users and support team.

Prerequisite: 12 Years of total experience
Must have completed at least 5 end to end EDI implementations.
Demonstrate very strong expertise of SAP orders, delivery, shipments, invoices, payments, charge-backs, and rebates related Idocs and corresponding EDI X12 and other EDI standards.
Experience with ServiceNow ticketing tool will be a plus.
Open to work on USA/Europe shift.
