The senior salesperson within the Leveraged Finance franchise tasked with selling new issue transactions and trading in the secondary market in the High Yield bond market. Includes but not limited to collaboration with the trading desk, our partners in Capital Markets and our team of desk analysts, to serve clients needs across new issuance, idea generation and relative value across the credit platform. Responsibilities:Implement sales strategy to improve Citi's client footprint and maximize associated revenue while working with partners in the business across trading, capital markets and researchAdvise team in strategic positioning and closing transactions with various internal stakeholders (structuring, trading, legal, credit and risk etc.)Responsible for training and developing junior salespeople on the Leverage Finance PlatformWork in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructureBuild a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethicsBe familiar with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities ServicesAdhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to youObtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframeAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparencyQualifications:10+ years of sales experience at a financial services organizationExperience in a client-facing role working with the buy-side communityProven interpersonal and problem-solving skillsStrong existing client relationships preferredMust have or be able to obtain required licenses including Series 7 and 63Education:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group:Institutional Sales------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Investor Sales------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:New York New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$200,000.00 - $300,000.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
