Responsibilities
• Handles customer inquiries and lead requests for groups within predefined Group Sales parameters• Aligns customer preferences with brand needs and actively up-sells business opportunities• Verifies business turnover for quality service delivery• Delivers service excellence to drive customer loyalty• Processes business correspondence and creates contracts• Works collaboratively with other sales channels• Understands the overall market and sells against competitors• Closes opportunities based on market conditions and property needs• Supports the operational aspects of business booked• Leverages company marketing initiatives to close on business
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED, or 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management• 2 years experience in sales, marketing, guest services, front desk, or related field• Preferred: 2 years experience selling group business• Knowledge of property operations and Food and Beverage• Team-based selling experience• Hospitality Management Degree
