Job Summary:The Sales Manager at Phil Smith Automotive Group is responsible for overseeing and managing the sales team, developing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets for all departments of the dealership including new and used cars, and finance. This full-time role requires strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of sales processes, and a deep knowledge of the automotive industry.Compensation & Benefits:This is a full-time, salaried position in the automotive industry with a competitive compensation package including base salary, commission, and bonuses. Phil Smith Automotive Group also offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement contributions, and employee discounts on vehicles and services.Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve dealership sales targetsMonitor and analyze sales reports and performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutionsOversee and manage the sales team, providing leadership, training, and coaching to ensure their successCollaborate with finance to maximize profits and provide exceptional customer serviceMaintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing exceptional serviceSet and enforce sales policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulationsManage inventory levels and ensure the dealership has a diverse and attractive selection of vehiclesStay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordinglyParticipate in dealership meetings and provide regular updates on sales performance and market trendsRequirements:Experience in Sales, Financial Services, or a related field preferredMinimum of 6 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership roleStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, lead and develop a teamExcellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skillsIn-depth knowledge of automotive sales processes, trends, and strategiesProficient in using CRM software and other sales toolsProven track record of achieving sales targets, profitability and CSIEEOC Statement:Phil Smith Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
