Sales Floor Manager will ensure the profitability of O'GARA Las Vegas by overseeing sales as well as selling new and used vehicles alongside the team. This role will be responsible for, but not limited to, planning, motivating, and coordinating O'GARA's sales team through leadership and solid business practices. Sales Floor Manager interacts daily with customers, store associates, company leadership, manufacturer representatives and vendors.REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelors in Accounting or Finance highly desirable or equivalent work experience4+ years of automotive retail management experienceValid driver's license and insurablePost-sale relationship managementStrong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees; strong time management skillsStrong and creative problem-solving skillsComfortable utilizing sale closing techniquesAbility to exercise sound judgment and make decisions; ability to set and achieve targeted goalsHigh level of integrity and reliability with a strong sense of urgency and result-orientatedStrong financial and business acumen and ability to drive revenue and profitabilityAbility to create competitive and breakthrough strategies with proven budget planning and management skills; understand financial reports, including Profit and Loss Statements, and other financial reportsEffective written and verbal communication skills, ability to motivate and communicate enthusiasm for O'GARA and its brandsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise the ordering of merchandise, based on the objectives establishedWork directly with sales staff to facilitate a highly professional approach to each client interactionSets clear vision and goals for the store to achieve targeted performance in all areasEnsure compliance with consumer disclosure laws applicable to financial product and service providers, including Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Rees-Levering Motor Vehicle Sales & Finance Act, and California's Vehicle Leasing ActEngage and motivate team members to achieve key goals and performance expectationsSafeguard the confidentiality of customer information by compliance with federal and state privacy and data protection laws, including Fair Credit Reporting Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Fair & Accurate Credit Transactions Act, and Red Flags RuleStructure deals to maximize both sales and finance profitability, including educating and training sales team in presentation of the deal and subsequent handover to the F&I dept.Developing and maintaining productive relationships with manufacturersEducate and train sales team to facilitate a highly professional approach to customer interactions related to initial greeting, deal structure, vehicle delivery, and subsequent follow-up on each dealAnalyzing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performanceDriving the business through a high level of involvement in the day-to-day operationsAnalyze local market conditions, demographic situation, and history of previous salesWork with Marketing team to manage and develop the media plan and various advertising and promotional campaignsSupervise and analyze lease renewal activities to make the lease portfolio turn a profitBuild and maintain close relations with representatives of the manufacturers and financial branchesHandle customer complaints in such a way to ensure a high level of customer satisfactionMaintain an enthusiastic attitude to build positive employee attitudes and moraleEnsure that the appropriate safety measures are applied to all O'GARA facilities and ensure they are well lit and professional in appearanceKeeps up to date on all manufacturer's current product, program, and promotional noveltiesExplain the policies and procedures of O'GARA to all employees and certify that these are understood and followedPerform other tasks based on management requirements and instructionsBENEFITSHealth, dental and vision coverage for employee401kKPlanPaid time offPaid training, growth opportunitiesEmployee vehicle purchase plansDiscounts on products and servicesLong term job securityWe are committed to an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants and will make all employment-related decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability or veteran status.
