Join a Leader in the Pacific Northwest in Control Systems Design as a Sales Engineer. They are seeking a self-starter with experience in electrical process control systems.
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, communicating with clients, and revenue generation, all with the objective of exceptional customer service. Evaluation of customer needs, in-person customer presentations, and generation of concise proposals will also be within the scope of responsibilities.
You'll need good communication and marketing skills to work in vertical industry markets in a broad range of industries by region. Responsibilities Include: Develop and maintain productive working relationships with Distributors/Vendors, Contractors, and Industrial customers, at all levels of their organizations Report sales progress/status to the Sales Director Conduct technical presentations to create preference Develop cost-effective proposals from project plans and specifications and negotiate and secure project orders Provide training, joint sales calls, and application support. Continued cultivation of internal relationships with Engineering and Manufacturing. Build upon customer relationships Attending business conferences and other required meetings Traveling as needed (25% regional travel)
Requirements BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Sales Engineering, Communication, and Sales skills Technical Support and Customer Service skills Ability to evaluate customer needs and provide solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as well as in a team environment Experience in the Industrial Controls industry Familiarity with CAD software and programming languages is a plus Preferred Qualifications: 5-10 years of relevant experience in Industrial Sales, Account Management, and Demonstrated Sales Growth Professional Engineering License Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents. Excels at negotiating, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and working under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs Why work here?
