Safety Training Manager

Qualifications

Current up to date certification in disciplines required
CSP or Degree preferred (Consideration given for 10+ years in industrial safety)
Must have at least five (5) years of direct industry training experience (more preferred)

Responsibilities

Classes may include OSHA 10 & 30 Con & GI, Crane, Asbestos, HAZWOPER, DOT, Confined Space, LOTO, Fall Protection, Excavation
Plan, prepare, and execute training strategies by facilitating classes, providing technical assistance, and/or individual coaching
Work collaboratively with employers to ensure the curriculum and learning outcomes prepare employees for success at work utilizing client policies
Ability to manage employees, class time and course training materials
Ability to arrive at company site of training to prepare classroom, equipment and start on time
Deliver customized courses
Manage classroom to ensure a productive and safe learning environment
Develop customized participant training materials, active learning activities and events
Prepare course outlines, lecture content and hands-on activities that demonstrates the goals and outcomes of the safety training
Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, teamwork, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks while remaining customer-focused
Ability to clearly communicate training content to employees
Ability to be patient and demonstrate professionalism at all times
Based on business needs, identify and develop safety training strategies
Ability to arrive at company site of training to prepare classroom, equipment and start on time

Benefits

Pay: $40.00 - $75.00 per hour based on skillset
Commission and Profit Sharing available
