Safety Specialist

Job Title: Safety Specialist 
Location: Poplar Bluff, MO
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 THIS IS AN ON-SITE ROLE  Based in Poplar Bluff we are one of the top-rated distributors in North America of sustainable steel products and solutions tailored to our customer's needs. Due to growth and demand for our services, we are in need of hiring for a Safety Specialist that possesses strong experience with manufacturing 
Responsibilities:  Create and put into effect safety processes and procedures in compliance with laws and industry standards. Perform routine safety audits and inspections to find possible dangers or hazards. Examine and document any mishaps or occurrences that take place on the property. Employee education and training on safety measures and best practices should be provided. Oversee safety training initiatives and guarantee that every worker receives the necessary instruction. Work together with management and other departments to make sure that safety rules and procedures are followed. In charge of the plant safety committee, make sure that the company's Safety Action Tracking System is used to track site-specific actions. Qualifications:  Bachelor's Degree in Safety or related field 3+ years of safety management experience in the manufacturing industry GSP, ASP, or CSP is preferred OSHA 10/30 preferred Strong understanding of OSHA regulations Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401k+Match  Vacation & PTO  .. and more  Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
