HOURLY RATE: $25.80 Eligible for quarterly bonus and overtime
Safety Coordinator
This position requires a significant knowledge of various generally recognized workplace safety, quality assurance programs and regulatory compliance. As the Safety Coordinator, you will immerse in a variety of tasks to support, reinforce, and maintain a high level of safety within the warehouse.
Daily duties will include, but not limited to:
* Provide staff with proactive measures to identify hazards and reduce the risk of injuries
* Assist with Hazard Assessments and preparing Accident Prevention Programs for staff.
* Assist with conducting and leading safety committee and safety meetings
* Develop and execute training programs and presentations for staff
* Establish methods for improving safety performance and evaluate the probability and severity of accidents to identify where controls need to be implemented to reduce or eliminate risk.
* Stay up to date with changing state and federal rules and regulations in the safety arena
