Position Overview: The Safety Coordinator position in Nashville is a critical role in promoting work safety and ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies and regulations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for conducting safety inspections and assessments, as well as providing safety training and education to employees.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and regulations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct safety inspections and assessments in a timely manner. Provide safety training and education to employees. Identify and report safety issues to the appropriate parties. Maintain accurate safety records and documentation. Assist with the investigation of safety incidents. Ensure the proper use of protective equipment. Assist with the development of safety programs and initiatives. Participate in emergency response drills. Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in safety management or safety coordinator. Knowledge of Construction Safety, Safety Control, and Safety Management. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
