This route driver position earns a starting competitive wage between $20-21/hour . WORK SCHEDULE This full-time route driver position has 1st shift hours starting between 6:00 and 7:00 AM Monday to Friday. End times will vary (generally between 2:30 and 3:30 PM). Flexibility is needed to meet customer needs.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A ROUTE DRIVER/VMI SPECIALIST High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years' experience delivery/route driving and customer service Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to safely climb step ladders while carrying heavy products Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly AS A ROUTE DRIVER/VMI SPECIALIST, YOU WILL Deliver appropriate products to customer locations. You replenish bins and scan appropriate bins to create new sales orders. Communicate with the customer to ensure product levels exceed your customers' expectations. Play a key role in fulfilling the needs of customers in our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program. Arrive at customer locations with a positive attitude. Use your keen attention to detail, ensuring you have everything needed to complete your route. WHO YOU ARE You are a hard worker and have a high attention to detail. You have excellent communication skills and are approachable, both internally and externally. You are a people person and have a positive attitude. You are adaptable, and are able to handle various tasks that may change from day-to-day to meet the needs of the company. You are team-oriented.
