Room Service Server

We are looking for friendly, positive, service-oriented, highly energetic, and self-motivated In-Room Dining Servers to join our team. We currently have 2 AM openings and 2 PM openings. Hours of operation begin at 5:30 am for AM shifts and 4:30 pm for PM shifts creating multiple options for interested candidates.Schedule:• Day shift• Evening shift• Holidays• Weekend availabilityResponsibilities:• Set tables and trays according to the type of food ordered and the brand service standards• Perform opening and closing duties for in-room dining• Clean/remove trays from guest rooms and corridors• Serve guests their food & beverage in a prompt and courteous manner• Present accurate checks to guests and complete the payment process• Maintain knowledge of all food & beverage items and their specifications including price, ingredients, etc.• Communicate with each guest to ensure satisfaction with the food & beverage provided• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure adequate stock of supplies• Ensure adequate and clear communication with the Culinary team• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor on the propertyQualifications: Skills:• Previous relevant experience preferred• Excellent communication skills• Ability to gauge customers' preferences• High school diploma; relevant training is a plusAbout Company: Our lakeside hotel is off I-85, a half-mile from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and steps from The Shoppes at University Place.
