Room Attendant

Job summary
Maintain hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for guests, associates, and vendors.Perform cleaning tasks such as scrubbing, scouring, and dusting furniture and surfaces.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms.

Responsibilities
• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents.• Strip beds, change bed linens, and make beds.• Dust furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.• Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.• Inspect room for cleanliness and appearance.• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.• Assist co-workers with job duties and be a team player.• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.• Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.• Adapt communication style to suit different audiences.• Willingness to pitch-in and help co-workers.• Must be available to work on a regular basis.
