Robot Programmer

They are seeking a 1 st shift (7:00 am – 4:00 pm/ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm ) Paint Robot Programmer. The ideal candidate will have Fanuc or ABB robot programming experience within the automotive industry. Summary: As the Robot Programmer you will work with program management and/or production in developing successful robot programs to ensure customer requirements are met, all part zones have adequate paint coverage and that the robotic paint process is stable and maintained for maximized output.
Tasks: · From the time proto-type paint-jigs are delivered, the robot programmer will begin programming to ensure all paint coverage, will follow the parts through to understand any issues through paint-jig mapping and correct the issues.
· Develop robot programs for paint applications from scratch.
· Troubleshoot programming issues and make necessary adjustments to current programs.
· Performs other duties as directed by Supervisors, Superintendents, and Management.
Requirements: ·1+ years' experience Robot Programming (paint preferred)
· Fanuc or ABB experience
· Automotive Manufacturing experience
· Understanding of part zones and their criticality
· Understanding of offline robot programming
