Roadway Design Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce detailed construction plans and documents using AutoDesk or Bentley design software(s)
- Conduct studies, prepare reports, and create technical specifications, regulatory permits, and construction estimates
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to enhance project outcomes
- Implement innovative roadway design strategies to optimize user experience and safetyEssential
Job Functions:
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field from an accredited school
- Licensed Professional Engineer in MN or with the ability to obtain MN licensure within 6 months
- 4+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer in transportation design
- Proven proficiency in AutoDesk or Bentley design software(s)
- Strong work ethic, enthusiastic attitude, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines
Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other design software(s)
- Extensive knowledge of transportation design standards and best practices
- Experience in developing construction plans, technical specifications, and regulatory permits
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
