Responsibilities
• Provide patient care within an assigned department/unit.• Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.• Follow established patient care standards for Legacy Health System.• Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, families, physicians, and the community.• Utilize keyboard skills and navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.• Follow guidelines set forth in Legacy's Values in Action.• Equal opportunity employer/vets/disabled.• Maintain current applicable state RN license.• Hold AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
Requirements
• Education: As required by licensure. BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred. BSN may be required for specific assignments.• Experience: One-year registered nursing experience or completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum, and duration. Recent NICU experience strongly preferred.• Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in keyboard skills and navigating electronic systems applicable to job functions.
