Responsibilities
• Provide patient care for complex and low intervention births• Coordinate care with maternal fetal medicine providers and specialty care coordinators• Staff to AWHONN standards• Participate in Maternal Cardiac program and Fetal Surgery program• Hold advanced certifications and contribute to Shared Governance committee
Requirements
• External applicants: Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Degree• Internal applicants: Associate's Degree in Nursing• Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License• BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, reach, carry, push, pull and walk throughout the work period• Basic computer skills and use of hospital approved clinical equipment• One year of recent labor and delivery experience required
Key Skills Needed
• Fluency in Spanish or other languages (preferred)• Inpatient obstetric or advanced fetal monitoring certification (preferred)• Surgical circulating and surgical scrub experience (desirable)
