Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and oversee infection prevention and control policies and procedures. Monitor and investigate known or suspected sources of infections, taking appropriate action to prevent the spread. Educate staff about infection control best practices, ensuring compliance with protocols. Review infection rates and prepare reports for healthcare administrators. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive infection prevention measures. Stay updated on latest research and best practices related to infection prevention. Participate in the selection and use of infection control equipment and supplies. Qualifications: Valid RN or LPN license Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing. Specialized training or certification in infection control preferred. Prior experience in infection prevention and control in a healthcare setting. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
