We are seeking a Registered Nurse(RN) to:
Establish goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs with the patient, family and /or other care provider in preparation for surgery. Support care for adult patients with identified risk factors preoperatively that require optimization prior to scheduled surgery across all surgical sites within UW Health. Work in collaboration with a small multidisciplinary team of advanced practice providers and anesthesiologists in a new pre-anesthesia clinic setting opening in October 2023 on the east side of Madison. Minimum - Graduate of school of nursing.
Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Work Experience :
Minimum - Six (6) months of RN experience.
Preferred - Relevant RN experience. Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum - Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact. CPR/BLS Certification.
