About the Role:
As a Revenue Clinical Charge Analyst RN, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of patient charges. You'll review medical records, facility protocols, and corporate standards to determine charge appropriateness. Additionally, you'll provide education and support to facility staff on charging and billing issues and collaborate with various departments to address charging opportunities.
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting charge reviews and providing educational in-services for facility staff.
Serving as a liaison between facility administration, shared services, and ancillary department directors.
Monitoring charging practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Providing education and support for new service lines and procedures.
Reviewing regulatory communications and implementing necessary changes.
Participating in charge optimization projects and special initiatives.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse Degree required.
Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes or experience in charging validation reviews is a plus.
