Responsibilities
• Greet, orient, and assist guests in a friendly manner• Provide exceptional customer service in-store and at the register• Support volunteer and event activities• Process point-of-sale payments accurately• Price and stock merchandise, curating displays• Maintain knowledge of merchandise• Maintain shop tidiness, cleanliness, and organization• Work independently to balance multiple priorities• Learn and adapt in an ever-changing environment• Communicate honestly and collaborate effectively as a team
Requirements
• 1 year of customer-facing or retail work experience• Preferred bilingual in Spanish and English• Preferred deep product knowledge in arts & crafts, fabric, fiber, papercraft, etc.
Key Skills Needed
• Friendly and outgoing attitude• Effective communicator• Counting, math, and cash handling• Technologically adept (Square POS, Google Workspace, PC, iPad)
