Jocelyn Pension Consulting, a Strongpoint Partner, is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious 401(k) Implementation and Conversion Specialist who will oversee the setup and transition of our new 401(k) plan clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding clients through the onboarding process and providing ongoing support to ensure success. Role & Responsibilities:
• Lead the implementation process for new 401(k) plans, including plan design, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, third-party administrators, and investment providers to gather necessary information and documentation for plan setup.
• Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure timely completion of plan conversions and implementations.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of plan documents and data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, operations, and legal, to facilitate a smooth transition for clients.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on retirement plan regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Provide training and support to clients on plan administration processes, technology platforms, and employee communications.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation and conversion process, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implementation procedures and recommend process improvements as needed. Requirements:
• Between 5 - 10 years of 401(k) retirement plan administration experience.
• Excellent understanding of ERISA, IRS regulations, and DOL requirements pertaining to retirement plans.
• ASPPA and/or NIPA credentials preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and implementing retirement plans for diverse client portfolios.
• Experience with Relius software strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, analytical, organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong math and/or accounting skills
• Strong initiative, integrity, self-motivation, and results orientation
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong MS Office experience, especially Excel and Word
