With an emphasis on making a customer and not a sale, we focus on finding the right products for the customer. We are looking to add a Part-Time Sale Associate to the team to ensure the best possible customer experience for each and every shopper. The Job starts at $17/hr and includes sick pay and an employee discount. Hours will vary and may range from 10-30 hrs depending on the season and scheduling needs.
Job Duties (not limited to): Greets and welcomes every customer who walks in. Curate relationships with our customers while being able to read cues and engage appropriately Prioritizing customer interactions over other projects and co-workers Cross sell products Be comfortable with the check out process including ringing up orders and processing payment accurately. Helping hit sales goals through suggestive selling and demonstration of product knowledge. Be knowledgeable about all of our brands Be comfortable with being on social media and posting to the stores social media accounts daily. Be willing to learn about and become an expert in our gear brands, ultimately being able to make personalized recommendations to customers. Stocking and merchandising store Maintaining store cleanliness with daily dusting, sizing, wiping down things as needed, cleaning mirrors, vacuuming, taking out trash and recycling, etc Making sure all products are accurately labeled, including checking in and tagging incoming product Help pull and package orders Be familiar with store policies Be able to work effectively in a group setting The Ideal candidate is :
