We are looking for our next Retail Inventory Coordinator to join our team.
Here are some highlights of what actions you will be doing in this role: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of retail and inventory within the salon and spa to ensure a high level of client service standards and achievement of overall retail and service sales goals. Responsible for upholding the integrity of the automatic replenishment system and performing functions such as placing orders, stock control, merchandising, stock movement. Leads the bi-annual physical inventory in conjunction with the General Manager. Completes salon-to-salon transfers and completes required paperwork in a timely manner. Communicates in salon | spa and warehouse out of stocks with departments on a weekly basis. Coordinates and leads bi-annual physical inventory. Uses the company's inventory system to track and audit any discrepancies found at the salon | spa level. Ensures all stock areas are clean and organized in a way that is easy to navigate. Places weekly supply orders and monitors order quantities to ensure that they are within the Open to Buy Budget Guidelines as well as the current days of supply targets. Leads monthly Stock Control Book counts and audits for accuracy. Distributes orders, receives boxes, and ensures their accuracy. Resolves inventory issues that may arise in a timely and efficient manner. Communicate all new policies and procedures to the teams in terms of how it uses the information for optimization of use. Writes supplemental orders as necessary to replenish. Maintains an automatic replenishment system to ensure the salon is replenished at optimal levels and does not run out of products. Ensures all products on shelving units are regularly rotated and maintained for cleanliness standards. Maintains storefront displays that promote the company (if applicable) Completes Return Audits for products that are returned from clients and moves products out of inventory. Ensures all collateral needed for holidays is always at an optimal level. Performs stock movement for all departments daily. Completes station audits for hair, nail, and spa departments a minimum of two times per week. Attends monthly Retail Coordinator meetings to stay current on policies and procedures. Perform weekly active assortment audits for hair and nail departments and assist the GM in placing supplemental order. Here are some of the skills and background that we are looking for in this individual: Experience with hospitality, retail, or customer service in a fast-paced environment. Preference beauty, spa or salon experience a plus. Required excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict-resolution track record. Need to have strong computer skills including Excel and Word. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency. Comfortably handling situations with composure and compassion. Effective organizational skills, able to manage multiple duties simultaneously. Ability to work various schedules including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Approachable, pleasant and spends the extra effort to put others at ease both internally and externally. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to stand on your feet for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds.
