Job Summary:As a Residential Home Inspector with Pillar To Post, in the Greater Seattle Area, you are responsible for conducting thorough and detailed inspections of residential properties in accordance with state and company guidelines. This position is a full-time, remote-based role with a compensation package of $35,000-$60,000 per year, or commission. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. No previous home inspection experience is necessary. A typical day includes; driving to residential homes, meeting with real estate agents, as well as home buyers and sellers, conducting a thorough inspection of the home, discussing your findings with sellers/buyers and provide a written report.Compensation & Benefits:Company-provided equipment and toolsPaid training and licensingResponsibilities:Conduct thorough and accurate inspections of residential properties, assessing the condition of the structure, systems, and componentsCommunicate clearly and effectively with clients, explaining the inspection process and answering any questions they may havePrepare comprehensive inspection reports, including written descriptions and photographs, within a specified timeframeProvide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues with professionalism and empathyAdhere to all state and company guidelines, maintaining accuracy and ethical standards throughout the inspection processCollaborate with team members and management to continuously improve processes and proceduresRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentMust be a licensed home inspector or have the ability to obtain a license within a specified timeframeKnowledge of residential home construction and systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issuesProficient in using technology, including tablets, cameras, and inspection softwareValid driver's license and operable vehicle (company vehicle provided after probationary period)Must be able to pass a background checkEEOC Statement:Pillar To Post provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
