What are we looking for? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Designer to join our Greenville, South Carolina team and play a pivotal role in creating exceptional luxury custom homes. As a Residential Designer, you will collaborate closely with clients, designers, and builders to transform their vision into reality. Your creativity, technical expertise, and attention to detail will be instrumental in crafting homes that exceed expectations. Position Responsibilities
Design $2M - $15M luxury custom homes, ensuring that the architectural style aligns with the client's preferences and budget. Confer with clients, designers, and builders to gather project requirements, understand client preferences, and provide expert design guidance. Create and modify architectural designs using Revit, incorporating client and builder input and feedback. Prepare detailed construction documents that adhere to applicable building codes, jurisdiction/community requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with project managers to ensure designs meet deadlines and align with construction timelines Conduct site visits to assess the property and identify any potential challenges or limitations. Research and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in residential design. Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on project progress and design modifications. Minimum Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury home architectural design Extensive proficiency in Revit, including the ability to create detailed 3D models and construction documents Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex design concepts clearly and concisely Strong understanding of zoning laws, building codes, and industry standards Creative and innovative approach to design, with the ability to translate client ideas into tangible and aesthetically pleasing homes Passion for residential design and a commitment to delivering exceptional results Preferred Requirements Degree in architecture or a related field (minimum Associates, Bachelor's preferred) Benefits: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account 401(k) with company matching Paid time off Job Type: Full-time Onsite Day shift Monday to Friday
