Responsible for preparing multi-family property financial statements and owner reporting packages.Calculating and recording fees and remittances.Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports.

Responsibilities
• Prepare bank reconciliations for operating, investment, and escrow bank accounts.• Calculate and record monthly management fees and owner remittances.• Prepare and analyze financial statements, cash flow spreadsheets, and lender-required reports.• Reconcile One Site reports and supporting schedules to the general ledger.• Prepare journal entries for reclassifications, deposits, mortgage activity, etc.• Prepare financial statements and reports for distribution to owners and users.• Reconcile security deposit refunds to tenant and general ledgers.• Initiate cash transfers and owner distributions.• Research and resolve stale dated checks.• Distribute the Multifamily cash sheet daily.• Respond to inquiries from CPA's, clients, and property management personnel.• Perform other essential functions as assigned by management.• Compute and perform excess cash distributions, as requested.• Set up new properties and bank accounts in MRI software.• Prepare year-end audit packages and respond to auditor inquiries.• Review auditor workpapers and record appropriate entries.• Prepare special reports and supporting schedules for specific owners.• Perform employee lease audit.• Diligently perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
• High School diploma and college-equivalent Accounting Courses.• 2-3 years accounting experience.• Excel skills.• Experience with GL and Accounting software.
