Responsibilities
• Genotype DNA samples• Measure telomere length• Process incoming DNA samples• Assist in general laboratory work• Perform assays• Order supplies• Carry out routine laboratory assignments• Select procedures and techniques for new problems• Work on projects using acquired knowledge and skills• Set own priorities to complete assigned tasks
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology (required)• Master's degree in molecular biology (preferred)• Ability to plan, coordinate, and carry out independent research• Knowledge of DNA processing• At least 3 years of related experience• Experience with quantitative PCR and high-throughput technologies• Previous experience with DNA genotyping and DNA methylation measurement (preferred)
