Responsibilities
• Act as PIC for research flights in IMC and VMC• Act as PIC and SIC for transportation flights• Maintain safety culture and efficient procedures• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and planning• Prepare flight plans and logistics for research projects• Operate aircraft domestically and internationally• Attend training as needed• Communicate effectively with crew and passengers
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in aviation• ATP certificate and 3,000 logged pilot hours• 2,000 hours as PIC of multi-engine aircraft• 500 hours in fixed-wing turbine aircraft• First-class FAA medical certificate• Valid driver's license• Knowledge of FAA rules and regulations• Desireable qualifications: King Air experience, knowledge of weather and flight operations
