The incumbent will be part of a research team of AIGR-LAU. The anticipated start date is immediate once a suitable candidate is identified. 
Responsibilities: The specific work areas of the successful individual will be: 
Research project management, including coordination ofrelated laboratory personnel and maintaining laboratory facilities 
Preparing and validating analytical protocols 
Performing laboratory analyses 
Assisting with or conducting animal or in vitro studies 
Other occasional work related to a specific project

Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Qualifications and Experience: Demonstrated capabilities in project/laboratory management, laboratory analyses, data handling, and preparation of scientific reports are needed. A postgraduate degree in life science is desirable. However, an individual with a bachelor's degree but possessing extensive experience and skills in the above-described areas is highly encouraged to apply. The incumbent must show an ability to work cooperatively with others. Although experience is a desired quality for this position, even more important is the expressed passion, ability to learn quickly, optimistic attitude, and the ability to be the ultimate teammate. In this regard, the position offers exceptional growth opportunities for an early to mid-career professional.
