Our climate-controlled site has 27 different nationalities, and 9 active employee resource groups.Roles and Responsibilities:Role Summary:Take ownership of job detail to produce customer expected outcomePerforms functional tests using a variety of equipment to verify accuracy and functionality (i.e.electrical, helium, and leak tests as required)Work with team members to facilitate component process through Repair StationMove parts/work orders through own cell or departments as requiredTrain with Certified Repairman to obtain record of part 145 skills.Essential ResponsibilitiesIn addition, you will:Read and interpret dimensional measurements (calipers, and scales)Follow written work instructions, processes, and proceduresUse a wide variety of hand and/or power tools as requiredLearn Part 145 Repair Station rules and regulationsUnderstand traceability of parts per Air Agency RegulationsReview FAA and Customer documents and understand process and proceduresQualifications/RequirementsActively participate in a teaming environment that uses lean and 5S practices to improve products and processesBasic computer skillsBasic math skillsBasic ERP skillsBasic written and verbal communications skillsSelf-directed and motivatedObtain all required certifications of departmentEligibility Requirements:Willing and able to frequently lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodationsWilling and able to stand for extended periods of timeHigh School diploma or GEDSubject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DOT and FAA regulations as requiredOne (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environmentWilling and able to work with hazardous materialsWilling and able to cross-trainDesired Characteristics:Excellent attendance historyAbility to produce error free productsStrives to meet or exceed job requirementsPrior mechanical knowledgeThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
